Changing the URL of your WordPress post or page is very easy. There is no need to use a separate service to do that, unless you are trying to track clicks, although you can also track clicks with your analytics service.
Below the title of your page or post, you will see the “permalink”. That is the URL where you will be able to view your page/post. Hopefully you have set your permalinks to custom, but either way, you can change the URL that WordPress automatically generates for you here. Just click the Edit button.
This is a great idea if your post/page title is really long or if you want an easy to remember URL for your customers. It’s also good for SEO to put your key words in your URL.
