Recently, I’ve added two new MUST HAVE plugins to my Recommended Plugins list. They are two completely different plugins, but each makes life much easier.
1) Adminimize If you are creating a WP site for a client, you will want to use this plugin to make the admin area less confusing for them. WordPress is the simplest CMS solution I have found so that clients can update their own site, but it also offers a wide range of options. This is good for the developer, but confusing for the client. This plugin streamlines the admin area so the client can focus on what’s most important to them. And since you can do this for different user types, the admins can still have easy access to the areas they need without having to worry that a client is going to make changes to important files.

2) Captcha For security -I get notifications all the time that people (or robots) have tried to login into my site. With the huge amount of sites being hacked lately, you just can’t be too careful. Like the captcha that you might see before pressing the submit button when filling out a form, this plugin enables a simple math question on your login screen. If robots try to access your site, their inputs won’t even be sent to the database because they won’t be able to fill out the captcha. If a human tries to access your site without the correct password, it’s going to be a lot more annoying to put in all those guesses. Either way, you win. I’d say this is a MUST HAVE plugin.
As you can see, there are some options for the plugin, but basically this is just an install, activate and use plugin – which I love!
Have you tried these plugins or use other plugins to do the same thing? Tell me about it!
