I have several clients who use FAQs pages on their websites. I highly recommend them because why keep answering the same questions over and over when your website can do it for you? The problem is usually these pages tend to be very long. In the past, I have solved that problem with anchor links and “back to top” links, but it was still a huge page which could become unmanageable. Recently, I started using accordions for this purpose. They make the page much shorter, but still give all that important information.
My most recent use of this was for Leadership Solutions for Women. I wanted the smallest and simplest plugin I could find because I did not want to add much weight to the site for this functionality. I simply installed the byBrick Accordion plugin, and added just a little CSS of my own (although it was fine without it). A huge page became much smaller and it is much easier for site visitors to see all the questions at any time. Overall, this is a great solution.
